A Possible History: Ancient (Sunken) Mines

The mining carts and tracks that are scattered throughout the Dancing Dragon give the assumption that these halls were once ancient mines dug out at the base of the Goron Mountains. They were probably used by the Gorons before the dungeon sank. Once the base of the mountain was submerged, the Gorons abandoned the mines leaving it to be infested by aquatic, earthly, and ghostly monsters.
