== I need some admins to help me figure some stuff out!  ==
MannedTooth, I'm new to this and tonight there has been a lot of people adding stuff and changing my user talk page around.  I see that you moved my bio to my user page and put everything else back.  I want my talk page to be MY talk page and under my control.  I've read https://zelda.gamepedia.com/Help:Talk_Pages and it says do not delete others comments or yours unless it's on your own talk page, which all of this is.  So, please, help clarify.  I don't even know if this is the appropriate way to reach out to you.  There's an overwhelming amount of minutia that goes into this site.  All I want to do is contribute how I can and be able to remove snarky comments that are 4 days over-due and were unnecessary at the time.  So all I am seeing is that some joker that couldn't read a time stamp, brought up an issue 4 days old on my user talk page and the only thing that it is allowed to have is his comment?  Please help me to understand because I'm a noob to wiki stuffs but this just seems outrageous.  I see no where that says I can't modify my own user page or even delete material from it since it is mine. Isn't that what the archived history is for to see past edits so I don't have a constant reminder that someone can't read time-stamps as my first and only permissible text on MY talk page?

Oh, yeah right sorry, the thing is I am currently reading a Prima Guide and adding sources, so whenever I find something relevant and added on here, I look for it and edit the section, add the source then save and proceed to continue reading. So that's why. Will try to prevent that from now on! Thanks for warning me ! :) MannedTooth (talk) 20:28, 26 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I would suggest to write down all the sources first and then add them to the relevant page once you're done with the guide. - Chuck * (Talk) 20:59, 26 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Mistakes in Zelda Material

Hey there, just wanted to give you a heads up that we have a page that's meant exclusively for mistakes in the series. We don't usually note errors on the main pages unless they're rather significant, so your edit about the Labrynna typo has been moved there. If you know of any other mistakes, that would be the place to put them. :) User:Tony/sig 03:48, 28 December 2016 (UTC)

Thanks! So is this edit alright? MannedTooth (talk) 04:02, 28 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Looks good to me. User:Tony/sig 04:16, 28 December 2016 (UTC)
By the way, Zelda Wiki is written in an in-universe style, so please avoid using "the player". Try to describe things happening to or being done by "Link" whenever possible. User:Tony/sig 07:42, 28 December 2016 (UTC)

Source Placement

Hey there. Just for your information, citations are always supposed to be placed immediately after the next available pronunciation and not mid-sentence. I saw you had some confusion about the Shipyard Worker's citation, so I thought I would explain why that was there and not immediately following his name. User:Tony/sig 04:33, 30 December 2016 (UTC)

Oh, alright, I sent a message concerning that subject to Chuck. Thanks ! :) MannedTooth (talk) 04:38, 30 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Sorry, I made a typo. Punctuation, not "pronunciation". User:Tony/sig 04:41, 30 December 2016 (UTC)
Uhm... This guide says that it's okay not to put it only after punctuation marks, not trying to argue. But what should we follow, this or what you said and thus we should remove this from the guide? MannedTooth (talk) 05:01, 30 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Our guides are outdated and currently undergoing revision. Updates to it have not yet been published. User:Tony/sig 05:08, 30 December 2016 (UTC)

Unnecessary sourcing

Hello. I just wanted to talk to you about the citations you've added to the wiki over the last month, specifically in regards to the game pages.

A lot of the citations you've added, namely those from the PH game guide, have been redundant and unnecessary. Generally, when we look to the game guides for sources, they are used to source information that is not commonly known (such as release dates or names of enemies or places). Information that is already widely known or obvious, such as game modes or save files, do not have to be sourced when the game is already released. Those things are already common knowledge. Further more, some of the citations you've added have not been consistent to the statement you were sourcing. For instance: you stated that the World of the Ocean King has sixteen islands, but the two sources from the PH guide did not explicably say there were sixteen. Unless the citation actually applies to the statement that is being sourced, it should not be added.

Adding sources for the release dates is quite handy, and we do appreciate that. But for everything else that is already well known, those do not. Please try to take greater care in adding sources. Thanks. - Midoro (T C) 20:17, 7 January 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hylian Decrytology

I am not sure if you are already aware, but we already have a dedicated page on TWW Hylian translations, found here. If you'd like to help out with translations, you can edit that. - Midoro (T C) 02:38, 9 January 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Oh! I did not know! Thank you! :) Feel free to delete my page. :P MannedTooth (talk) 03:55, 9 January 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Sandboxes

You may not edit another user's sandboxes without their express permission. Trainees' sandboxes are especially off limits as it is part of their training procedure, which is to be overseen by me. User:Tony/sig 19:06, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

Oh, I did not know that, sorry! :p MannedTooth (talk) 19:08, 10 January 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
