The proud owner of Bow-Wow from Link's Awakening, and an apparent lover of chain chomps. She is often found boasting about Bow-Wow's fur coat in her home in Mabe Village.

In addition to Bow-Wow she owns two other smaller chain chomps, one lives in the house with her, and a fashion obsessed female chain chomp (that actually speaks) lives in the small hut attached to the side of her house.

Relevance to the plot

When her beloved Bow-Wow is "dognapped" by moblins, Link must go to the Moblin Hideout and get him back from their leader. As a reward for safely returning her pet Madam MeowMeow gives Link a kiss that refills his hearts and also allows him to take her little beastie for a walk. Without Bow-Wow, entrance to Bottle Grotto is impossible because it is blocked by a group of Goponga Flowers.
