Community:Zeldapedia
Zeldapedia is a wiki about The Legend of Zelda series, which is hosted on Wikia, and is therefore a competing Wiki with Zelda Wiki.org. It was created June 15, 2005 by Champion Kai.
Differences to Zelda Wiki.org
Unlike Zelda Wiki.org, Zeldapedia currently allows anonymous (non-registered) users to edit. The place where Zeldapedia really differs from Zelda Wiki.org is that is doesn't really use citations and references,[1] while Zelda Wiki.org places great importance on references; especially for featured content. Zeldapedia also has a reputation for being less caring than Zelda Wiki, because it is simply hosted on Wikia, and isn't dedicated to providing a comprehensive resource on The Legend of Zelda. [citation needed] Lastly, Zelda Wiki.org is more community based, also providing information on Zelda websites and communities, as it is a fan run website. This fan run element may be why Zelda Wiki.org is often considered to be more caring overall, and less concerned on income as Wikia is known to be.
