Piratians?

What's the actual name of these guys? Skull Pirates or Piratians? And they appear in both Oracle games, but I can't really help with the article because it's been a while since I played them. --Makar Rocks 09:24, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I believe they are just called Skull Pirates. Many people call them that. - AtrumLevis  (My Talk Page) (My Contributions) 10:25, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I guess I should have done this first, but I just looked at a text dump of Oracle of Seasons and there's the line, "Some weird guys called Piratians have settled down south." There's no mention of Skull Pirates. So um...am I correct in that this should be moved to Piratian (not Piratians because I don't think article titles are supposed to be plural)? Or is there an official source that calls them Skull Pirates? --Makar Rocks 10:37, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hmm...well, you can't go wrong with text dumps, so might as well move this page to Piratian. Dany36 23:34, 10 June 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Is it okay that I made the article title singular? Some articles about a group of characters are plural like Pirates, Knights of Hyrule, and The Killer Bees, but articles about races and enemies are singular. --Makar Rocks 04:20, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ah, well, we could just leave it like this and make the page PiratianS a redirect to this page. I don't think it should be that big a deal. Dany36 16:12, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I looked over both text dumps, both game manuals, and even the official Nintendo Player's Guide for the games. No mention as to what these guys are called. They are always referred to by the simple generic term "pirates". So any other name is a fan name. So obviously it should be merged into the Pirates page.User:Matt/sig 20:08, July 6, 2009 (UTC)

What about the quote from OoS where it calls them Piratians? --Makar Rocks 20:16, 6 July 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
