Sahasralah

Sahasralah is the ancient old man and village elder from Kakariko Village in A Link To The Past. After Agahnim takes over Hyrule, he takes flight and finds shelter in a small hut near the Eastern Palace. Link must seek him in order to acquire more information and advance in his quest. Sahasralah will reward Link with the Pegasus Boots if he is able to recover the Pandant of Courage from the Eastern Palace. Sahasralah will then charge Link with finding the remaining pendants and unlocking the Master Sword, so that Agahnim can be defeated.

Sahasralah is said to be a descendent of one of the original Seven Wise Men, or Sages.

Sahasralah can also contact Link telepathically, or speak to him directly when Link touches special tiles.
