Merman Link
In Oracle of Ages, Link transforms into {{{2}}}, a merman[1] with a powerfull tail for impulse his body when he immerses in water deep enough. This occurs from the moment he find Mermaid Suit at Mermaid's Cave and works as an upgrade for Zora's Flippers. As merman, Link can access very deep water zones, like big sea and wells. He cannot only swim these water masses, but also he can immerse himself for exlpore seabed as well as other places like wells, flooded grottos, etc.
Gameplay
When we pass to diving mode only one action button can be used, because the other one is reserved to get back Link to the surface. There are only two items we can use underwater: the first is any of three swords and the other one is both type of hooks. During the game there are a lot of secret places, hide passages and a key dungeon specially based on diving mode, Jabu Jabu's Belly.
