Hektan
Hectan (pronounced /ˈhɛktæn/ HEK-tan)[1] is an old wizard with blue clothing and hair who serves Ganon in Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon. He puts the Royal Retainer in chains and takes him to Dodomai Palace.
Strategy
While Hectan may be weak, he still holds great magical abilities. He is capable of sending out fireballs that deal several hearts worth of damage if they strike Zelda. However, a single sword slash is sufficient to defeat him.
Upon his defeat, Hectan dissolves into pool of blue liquid and a beating Heart Container, while screaming "YOU KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLED ME!", to which Zelda smiles and comically replies, "Good!"

- "Hectan" may have been inspired by Hecate, the Greco-Roman goddess of witchcraft.
