Item Card listings

Why do we need the generic Item Cards to be listed in the Twilight Map Item Card list as well? I know the Twilight Map only uses certain kinds, but there's really no point for the listings to repeat themselves like this. It makes the page needlessly longer and repeating. I also think Generic Item Cards should just be referred to as Common Item Cards. -The Goron Moron (talk) 04:18, 1 January 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It just makes it clearer which are which. Honestly, it might be simpler to just have one table, with a few columns containing "X" marks for which map each item card appears in.
Also, why was the following removed? It is a helpful insight into how the game works, I think, since it makes the game much easier if known.KrytenKoro (talk) 15:31, 5 January 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
"However, since the game only auto-saves once a mission is completed, it is also possible to mulligan by turning the WiiU system off and on again when an Item Card is consumed, allowing the player to apply the Item Card to a different square, instead."
Because I thought that line was a bit pointless to be honest. The article shouldn't really have to give tips or tricks on using the cards through such means, it should just be detailing what they're for. And I thought the listings were more clearer before actually, without having to repeat itself. The Generic/Common Item Cards can just mention which maps they do appear in, they don't have to be listed in the Twilight Map list as well. It looks more cluttered now. -The Goron Moron (talk) 18:38, 5 January 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I feel like the autosave one should at least be a trivia note, since it was honestly the main thing that kept me playing the game before guides were posted.
As for the table -- for the initial set, we have stuff that's only true for two maps, and stuff that's true for three, and stuff that's true for one. It's not totally accurate to just say to the reader that everything in the first two maps is "generic", but I absolutely get your point about it getting redundant. We also have at least one more map announced, so it's likely there will be even more crossplay on these. How about this?KrytenKoro (talk) 19:31, 5 January 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
In regards to the trivia, I feel like that would be better in a Glitch page than on the actual page itself. We don't traditionally give tips on abusing or manipulating games in regular articles.
I like your idea for a table, Kryten, but I've made a sandbox to showcase how I personally think it could be improved. How does everyone feel about my version? User:Pakkun/sig 03:36, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
I like Pakkun's take on it. It looks very clean. -The Goron Moron (talk) 03:41, 8 January 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
