Features and Overview

Gortram Cliff is a cliffside that is part of a large gorge that runs between Goronbi River and Gorko Lake in Eldin Canyon. The Cliff is designated at the southwestern end, where a tiny pool of lava is found. It is the only place that Rock Roasts can be found. At the opposite end of the gorge in the northeast is the entrance to Gorko Tunnel. The way to the Tunnel is an upward climb of varying uneven terrain, including steep slopes with poor traction.

During the Shrine Quest "A Brother's Roast", Bladon sends Link to retrieve a Rock Roast from Gortram Cliff so that he may cook it for his fatigued brother Gonguron. More monsters appear along the gorge to hinder Link's progress, including archer Black Moblins and rolling boulders. In addition to contending with the obstacles, Link must also carefully plan his path ahead, as the steep slopes will make him slip and drop the Rock Roast, causing it to roll down into the lava pool below.
