Ancient Arrow: Difference between revisions

Ancient Arrows are a special type of Arrow designed specifically for defeating [[Guardian (Breath of the Wild)|Guardian]]s. It deals moderate damage to [[Boss]]es, but heavy damage to Guardians. If an Ancient Arrow strikes a Guardian directly in the eye, the Guardian is instantly defeated. If used on enemies other than Guardians and Bosses, the enemy and its [[Weapons in Breath of the Wild|Weapons]] will vanish. Enemies that vanish due to the Ancient Arrow will also not drop any [[Material]]s. It is the rarest type of Arrow, as only a handful of them can be found throughout [[Hyrule]]. However, [[Link]] can create them in exchange for [[Ancient Material]]s, [[Arrow]]s and [[Rupee]]s by using the Ancient Oven, [[Cherry]], at the [[Akkala Ancient Tech Lab]]. They can purchased individually, in bundles of three Arrows and in bundles of five Arrows.

Ancient Arrows can cause ice blocks made from the [[Cryonis]] [[Rune]] to vanish, though the Ancient Arrow used on them will still remain. Ancient Arrows can be used to instantly dispatch [[Divine Beast Vah Medoh (Dungeon)|Divine Beast Vah Medoh]]'s [[Cannon]]s. Ancient Arrows are one of the only means of defeating [[Dark Beast Ganon]], alongside the [[Light Arrow]]s from the [[Bow of Light]] and [[Twilight Bow]] and [[Sword Beam]]s from the [[Master Sword]].
