'''Bana Bana''' is the boss of the {{Term|AST|Deku Temple}} in {{FPTRR}}. It is a large, multi-headed carnivorous plant, similar to {{Term|AST|Manhandla|link}}. {{Term|AST|Bana Bana}} is the monster who is responsible for contaminating the {{Term|AST|Life Dew|link}} found within the {{Term|AST|Great Deku Tree|link}}. As in {{OoT}}, the {{Term|AST|Deku Tree}} is dying due to an infestation of monsters.  

When {{Term|AST|Tingle|link}} arrives, the {{Term|AST|Deku Tree}}'s sprout is dying, and needs the {{Term|AST|Items in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland|section=Life Dew|display=Life Dew|link}} found within the great tree itself. He ventures in to find that {{Term|AST|Bana Bana}} has contaminated the water, and proceeds to battle the creature. He is able to destroy it by feeding the respective color of spore to the appropriate head, three times for each of the three heads.

*{{Term|AST|Saria's Song|link}}, which also plays as part of the {{Term|AST|Deku Temple}} music, is remixed into the music when fighting {{Term|AST|Bana Bana}}.
