Big Octo

"Eww..what is this? Some kind of octopus?"-- Princess Ruto.

The Big Octo is a beast that made its home in the depths of Inside Jabu Jabu's Belly. When Link arrived at its lair, he threw Princess Ruto up on top of a platform to get the Spiritual Stone of Water. Upon grabbing it though, Princess Ruto was taken up to the next room by the platform. Then the platform sank, revealing the Big Octo in its entirety. Link thought it was indestructible at first, but he found one glaring weakness. By stunning the beast with his boomerang, it would reveal its weak spot on its hindquarters. Link slashed this vulnerable area a number of times to kill the monster. Link then killed the boss of the fish's belly and got the stone from Ruto afterwards.
