Appearing in Link's Awakening, the Bloober is a foreign water creature that can be found in only the deepest of lakes. They emit no projectiles but their excellent swimming techniques make it hard to avoid touching them. Simply strike them away with the sword when seen.
These classic, white, squid-like enemies were based on the Blooper from the Mario series. It should be noted that at the time Link's Awakening was made, they were still identified as "Bloopers".
Trivia
- Bloober's Japanese name, Gessō, is a pun on the Japanese word for squid tentacles, Template:Japanese.
