Black Boe

Black Boes are small enemies that hide in the darkness. They are found in areas of Majora's Mask. To kill them, Link may easily slash them with his sword. However, they always appear in large numbers; that is the only way they can pose an actual threat. They can occasionally blend in with their backgrounds, as long as the backgrounds are dark.

White Boe

White Boe is the snow-dwelling counterpart of the destructive Black Boe. Like their black incarnations, they swarm in packs taking down larger opponents such as Link. Unlike the Black Boe, Whites Boes favor the bright, light snow, rather than the darkness. But just as their brothers, they can be easily killed with a single sword swipe, and only pose a threat in large groups. A White Boe can commonly be found in pine trees and in the Snowhead Temple. They replace Blue Tektite as the common Snowhead enemy at night. They can often blend in with surroundings, making it hard to spot them.

Before they reach the ground, White Boes resemble large snowflakes, appearing like a soft flurry.
