Bonooru the Scarecrow lives at Lake Hylia in Ocarina of Time, and plays a large part in the learning (as well as writing) of the Scarecrow's song. The player can later use this song in certain areas of Ocarina of Time to make Bonooru appear in otherwise-inaccessible places, allowing the hookshot to take Link to his location. The Scarecrow's Song is also played with various different instrument sounds after the game finale scene has been idle for several minutes.
