The Bound Chest is a artifact from ancient times. Mentioned only in The Minish Cap, the story says how a hero was granted the Picori Sword and used it to seal all the worlds evils inside the chest, using the sword to seal them inside.

The is an object in TMC.

Years later, in The Minish Cap, Vaati destroys the sword in an attempt to get the Light Force, releasing all the monsters at the same time. There is a possibility that the Bound Chest is also part of the pedestal that the Four Sword resides in, as the sword is said to seal Vaati and Ganon inside it until it is removed.

The Bound Chest has similar properties to Pandora's Box, a Greek myth.
In celebration of the victory, the kingdom holds a yearly ,<ref>{{Cite|And the world of humans once more knew peace, thanks to the Picori. Because the commonly known portion of the legend did not specify where the TMC was hidden, TMC believes that the relic is found within the TMC and shatters the TMC in order to open it. However, the TMC only contained the once-sealed evil, which escapes to plague the world again.<ref>{{Cite|...?!? Empty? There was nothing in there but those monsters? ==Trivia==
*The TMC may be based upon Pandora's box, which was used at the beginning of humanity, in Greek mythology, to seal all the evils of the world until it was opened and they were released.
