HTLOZ II is the successor to [[Hyrule: The Land of Zelda]]. It was founded in March 2005 by [[user:Fury Three|F3]], [[user:Tempest|Tempest]], and [[user:IceSage|IceSage]]. The web site is still considered a Zelda fan site, but has a larger focus on the community forums.

Contrasting with the design of the first HTLOZ, HTLOZ II features a non-flash, clean, custom-enhanced web design, created by F3. HTLOZ II's design is such that it stands out as a unique web site, without forgetting its long and drawn-out historical origins.
