IceSage was originally a visitor who found HTLOZ upon his many travels from Zelda message boards, especially that of the Insidetheweb boards. Before HTLOZ's overhauled FLASH-TASTIC site, he visited HTLOZ's insidetheweb board, and posted on and off. Eventually, the HTLOZ insidetheweb board shut down, and the HTLOZ site got an actual domain name, and a layout overhaul, full of "flashtastic" content. IceSage made his way to the forums, which were run by Blazer at the time. During one of the courses of the "rebirth" of the HTLOZ forums (they went down a couple of times), the forums began to be "attacked" by spammers. Blazer seemed to be the only active moderator out of the HTLOZ staff, so IceSage suggested to Blazer that he should recruit some moderators to help clean up and moderate the spam. Thus, Blazer took his suggestion and recruited IceSage as a moderator, along with other HTLOZ members such as Ayn... (and a bunch of other people I can't remember at this moment.)

After several reinstallations and "downtime" from the forums, 2 "fallouts" were created. One, was Tempest's "Fallout Shelter" and the other was "Gamerstalkelite" which, was made as temporary hosting for IceSage provided by Zelda_King. The forums that were created to be temporary, eventually evolved into a more serious site, and in which IceSage remained an Admin. After the HTLOZ forums finally kicked the bucket for good, a large group of HTLOZer's split. One group visited Gamerstalkelite which became, Gamercrossfire (The original known as GXF, then later after HTLOZ II was put up, as GCF.)

IceSage helped admin several of the incarnations of the GamerCrossfire forums, until HTLOZ II was put up, and GXF turned into GCF and no longer became a shelter for HTLOZers, as most people affiliated with HTLOZ at one point, roamed to HTLOZ II.

IceSage now helps admin HTLOZ II.
