The Ocarina of Time Beta Restoration Project was a project started by ZeldaMaster90 and his team, Team Beta Triforce, in May 2008. The goal of the project was to restore the long lost 64DD Zelda, also commonly known as the beta of Ocarina of Time, to as much as possible than make it as if it had been 100% completed and released to the public. It was otherwise meant to be a complete overhaul of Ocarina of Time. They were supported by Unseen64 and ZeldaInformer.

The project has since been cancelled.
The project has since been canceled, and attempts to revive or carry on the work of Team Beta Triforce has proved unsuccessful. In its place, a new and totally revamped project emerged called The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time URA Expansion, which was loosely based on Shigeru Miyamoto's initial hopes for the expansion and would have featured a new storyline as well as a greatly expanded world. It would have been a direct sequel to the original game in which Ganondorf discovers an ultimate power in the Sacred Realm that creates a new reality which renders the Hero of Time nonexistent, and the Hero of Light would've been awakened by the Goddesses to try and fix the flow of time. The project was canceled soon after due to drama between the team members and lack of material to work with.

The project would have featured things such as usable medallions, a fishing rod which could be kept, areas such as the beta Castle Town, the Temple of Wind (Japanese name for Wind Temple), Temple of Light, Turtle Rock, as well as beta NPCs, including a character named Aria. The time system featured in the final product of the project would have been similar to that of Majora's Mask's, as well as interaction with NPCs living daily lives. The size of the areas was also planned to be on the scale of the area size of locations from Twilight Princess.
