Community:Zelda Historians
Zelda Historians is a group of theorists founded in 2010 who operate out of the website ZeldaInformer. The group was established by LOZ Historian, a veteran member of the Zelda theorizing community. The team serves as both a replacement of the now extinct Zelda Katsu project, and in the eyes of the creator, it aims to make up for the issues caused by the United Wise Men. The project underwent an extensive planning period on the staff boards of ZeldaInformer and was finally launched on the 4th of January 2010.
The project is co-ordinated at a public forum on the ZeldaInformer community boards. Its goal is to provide theorists with a range of canon resources for the formulation of accurate and evidenced theories, as it was due to the commonness of badly researched theories that the group was spawned. It is a mission to help theorists, both old and new, to accuracy.
Currently, Zelda Historians has released a collection of thousands of screenshots taken from all of the games in the series, English and Japanese Text Dumps, Japanese translations, manual scans, a list of Zelda developers, a developers quote guide, a symbols guide and a library of cutscenes. There are plans for many more projects; however due to the founder becoming absent from the internet soon after the project's launch, there has been a decline in enthusiasm in furthering the project. Below are listed the current members of Zelda Historians, however big or little their roles are. They are grouped according to position, and then listed alphabetically. The specific rankings within the group are: collaborators, historians, historian leaders and commentators. All positions officially have certain criteria, but as of the project's current state, there is little discrimination between ranks. The group welcomes new members, but to date, there has been no applications
