Deadite

Deadite[1] appear as large, bat like creatures with oversized heads. They're known to inhabit cold regions, caves and mountains. Their only means of attack is to fly directly into Link or Princess Zelda and bite at them with their over-sized heads.

- Deadite is also the name of the demonic enemies of the Evil Dead Trilogy.
