'''Death Bug''' is the boss of the [[Hero's Shrine]] dungeon in ''[[Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland]]''. [[Tingle]] will have to destroy this creature to continue on his journey. It is a large insectoid creature that has a variety of attacks, including the ability shoot out energy balls and strike out with long vines. It can be defeated by throwing multiple [[Bomb#Tingle Bomb|Tingle Bomb]]s at the head atop it's body. After being destroyed, it will yield 1,000 [[Rupee]]s.<ref>{{cite|You got 1,000 rupees!|Pinkle|Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland}}</ref> and the [[Leaf Rupee]].


Although not confirmed, Pinkle seems to suggest that the [[Ultra Death Bug]] is the same entity reborn. This is evidenced by the fact that the head atop the body seems to remain consistent throughout it's transformations, and later reveals itself to be a parasitic entity. Also, in the [[Auros Ruins]], where statues of all the monsters that held the the [[Super Rupee]]s appear, only one statue is used to represent both bosses.
