Death Mountain
Death mountain, this tall fiery mountain is located in Hyrule. This passage to this place starts at a gate in Kakariko Village. You need the Royal Family's permission to get past the guard that is stood there not letting any unimportant people through. In Ocarina of Time, this mountain is home to the Gorons, a peaceful race of people who eat rocks and are exceptionally good at forging blades. Death Mountain is also home to the Fire Temple, where Link fights Volvagia, a ferocious dragon. On top of this menacing mass of red earth is a Great Fairy who bestows Link with magic power in Ocarina of Time, and inside the mountain there is another fairy who grants Link a magic upgrade. Death Mountain is home to many a Tektite and if your not too careful, a boulder might crush you.
