Biography

Fado is responsible for running the Ordon Ranch. He teaches Link to ride Epona by setting up fences for practice.[1] As goats never listen to him,[2] he often asks Link to help him by herding them.[3][4] After Link restores light to the Eldin Province and gets Epona back, Fado gives him a Piece of Heart if he herds 20 goats into the barn in less than three minutes.[5]

Fado is last seen during the ending credits calling to Link's empty house.

Trivia

  • Link is never able to enter Fado's house at any time in the game as it is always locked. Therefore, the game does not includes data for the interior of his house.[6]
  • Fado shares his name with Fado from Ocarina of Time and Fado from The Wind Waker.
