Characteristics
Pods of yellow Dolphins inhabit the ocean of the Ocean Realm. While driving over the water, Link may be accompanied by a trio of Dolphins. Blowing the train whistle will cause them to leap out of the water. After blowing the whistle three times, all three Dolphins will leap at once and provide the train with a single Heart. If Link stops the train, the Dolphins will tail-walk.

Phantom Hourglass Manga
At the beginning of the Phantom Hourglass manga by Akira Himekawa, Link chases a pod of Dolphins from the deck of Tetra's Ship.[2] Tetra asks the hero where he is going, as Link is not done swabbing the deck.[3] Link tells the pirate there are Dolphins.[4] Tetra dismisses this, saying there are plenty of Dolphins in the ocean.[5]
