Template:Boss Glutko (pronounced /ˈɡlʌtkoʊ/ GLUT-koh)[1] is the fourth boss in The Faces of Evil, and is located in the Glutko area.

Biography

Glutko is a gluttonous cyclops and a minion of Ganon. He consumes Koridians alive with no remorse. Following the advice of Droolik, Link defeats Glutko by throwing a Bomb into his mouth, causing the cyclops to explode. He is fought again the same way at the Shrine of Koridai, where he guards the Book of Koridai.

Etymology

Glutko's name is derived from the word glutton or gluttonous, referring to his voracious and greedy appetite and behavior.

Trivia

  • Glutko is similar to the The Wand of Gamelon boss Omfak. Both are plot-significant bosses who guard the games' items necessary to defeat Ganon, and are known for their gluttonous behavior.
