Template:Boss Glutko the Cyclops (pronounced /ˈɡlʌtkoʊ/ GLUT-koh)[1] is a large, green mound boss with a single eye in Link: The Faces of Evil. After defeating Glutko, Link retrieves the Book of Koridai.

The Gluttonous Cyclops Glutko consumes Koridians with no remorse; his name having been derived from gluttony, or large hunger. This mirrors his manners, and he guards the Shrine of Koridai. He is first encountered in the interior of what comprises the nose and eyes of his statue, but Link kills him by making him swallow a Bomb, at the advice of the Beer Guy. Shortly afterwards, he is fought again at the shrine of Koradai, but is defeated again in the same way.

Trivia

  • The area where Glutko is introduced by Gwonam is in a lava cavern in his dungeon. Gwonam is located two screens far from the entrance, in the game's back cover however, Glutko's introduction is seen with the cave entrance as the background. This suggests that Gwonam was originally located at the cave entrance in the game's prototype.
