He is a meek, but friendly man, who procures a strong temper when agitated.
Biography
Hanch is Beth's father and Sera's husband, and resides in Ordon Village. After his daughter is kidnapped by King Bulblin's troupe, he sends a Hawk after Wolf Link whenever he comes close, believing Wolf Link was his daughter's kidnapper, as Link returns to Ordon Village in search of Rusl's Ordon Sword and Ordon Shield.
The tree above Fado's house is infested with bees in the beginning of the game; the bees' nest is one of the only free sources of Bee Larva in the Faron Province. Hanch tries to get at the bee nest, to no avail, when he is first seen in Twilight Princess, in order to cheer up the depressed Sera (her cat went missing) with the bee larva he hopes to extract. Link can help him by firing pellets from his new Slingshot at the nest or by sending a Hawk at it. Once it is knocked down, the bees will chase Link.
