Hopefully this has fixed it, sorry!)

Characteristics

Twilight Princess

Hawks can be summoned by blowing into Hawk Grass,[2] they are used to fetch items and attack enemies. When in Wolf form Link can talk to Hawks, who will tell him if there are any secrets in the area.

Link is first taught how to use a Hawk by Jaggle while living in Ordon Village, before going on to use one to knock down a Hylian Hornets nest so Hanch can get some Bee Larva for his wife, and to retrieve Uli stolen cradle from a Monkey.

When Link later return to Ordon Village whilst in Wolf form he will be spotted by Hanch, who mistakes Link for a monster and summons a Hawk to attack him. Hanch continues to do this whenever he spots him, until Link manages to sneak up behind him and scare him off. If Link then summons the Hawk via howling it will apologise for attacking him.

Rusl later summons a Hawk when he comes to Links aid when he is surrounded by enemies inside Hyrule Castle, getting it to retrieve an Arrow that had been shot by a Bokoblin.

  3. "These carnivorous birds live in plains or highlands. They use their sharp talons and beaks to catch and eat small animals and other birds. They soar calmly through the sky and search for prey from above." — Hyrule Compendium (Breath of the Wild)
