Hectan is a blue-clothed and haired old wizard who served Ganon. He put the Royal Retainer in chains and took him to Domodai Palace. Zelda found that one sword slash was sufficient to destroy him, and he dissolved into a pool of blue liquid and a beating Heart Container, while saying "YOU KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLED ME!". Zelda, showing absolutely no remorse whatsoever for murdering him, simply replies, "Good!" and smiles.
Strategy
While Hectan may be weak, still holds great magical abilities. He is capable of sending out fireballs that deal several hearts worth of damage if they strike Zelda. However a single sword slash is sufficent enough to end his evil ways.
Trivia
- Due to the way he dies as well as his blue colored clothes and hair, it's possible that Hectan is in fact made of water. This would explain why a simple sword slash is able to defeat him. It is because it literally pops his bubble.
