Surrounded by the [[Subrosia]]n [[Cemetery]], the House of Pirates is the place where the [[Piratian]]s take up residence when their ship crash-lands in the [[Samasa Desert]], driving them all the way into the hidden underground world of Subrosia.<ref>{{Cite|Our ship got caught in a storm and sank. It all looks so weird.|Piratian|OOS}}</ref><ref>{{Cite|Some weird guys called Piratians have settled down south.|[[Subrosian]]|OOS}}</ref> The Piratians live in the House of Pirates until Link helps them escape by helping the [[Captain]] find his [[Pirate's Bell|bell]] after completing the [[Ancient Ruins]] dungeon.

The House of Pirates is two stories tall. On the second story, there is a Piratian who will teach Link the correct pattern for opening the gate to [[Samasa Desert]] using a set of four drawers. On the roof of the Pirate House is a [[Portal]] that warps Link to a cave beneath [[Horon Village]] to the south, providing easy access to the area.  

===The Unlucky Sailor===

After the Piratians leave Subrosia, a few of them get left behind. In a [[Linked Game]], one of the Pirates, named the '''Unlucky Sailor''',<ref>{{Cite|Charm for the Unlucky Sailor|N/A|OOS}}</ref> who seems to believe strongly in luck, believes that the ship would never have crashed (and thus he would have never been left behind) if he knew the secret to being lucky.<ref>{{Cite|If I'd known the secret to bein' lucky, the boat wouldn't 'ave sunk and I wouldn't 'ave been left behind.|Unlucky Sailor|OOS}}</ref> Link obtains said secret from a young girl found south of the [[Black Tower]] in [[Labrynna]] in the past,<ref>{{Cite|I forgot to tell my lucky secret to that guy who went to Holodrum. He's so unlucky. I just hope he doesn't meet with disaster and end up a bag of bones... Can you help me?|Girl|OOA}}</ref> and can then tell to the Unlucky Sailor. The Unlucky Sailor will then upgrade the maximum number of [[Bomb]]s Link can carry (up to 50 if he has obtained the previous upgrade, up to 30 if not), but only when he has exactly 777 [[Ore Chunk]]s in his [[inventory]].<ref>{{Cite|Thank'ee! *Despite being named after the pirates, the House of Pirates likely existed before their arrival, as there is one Subrosian who resides in the House of Pirates who exclaims: "How long do they plan on staying here!?!" and, once they leave, says to Link: "Don't tell me you're gonna stay here now!", suggesting that the house is possibly his and that the Piratians are unwelcome.
