Template:Dungeon The Keive Tala Shrine,[name references needed] designated by the Trial name Big or Small,[name references needed] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild. It is exclusive to The Champions' Ballad DLC Pack.

Entrance to the Shrine

The Keive Tala Shrine is found in the East Barrens as part of the Main Quest, "EX Champion Urbosa's Song". To access the Shrine, Link must defeat the Molduking in the East Barrens. Upon its defeat, the Shrine will rise from beneath the ground on the side of a nearby mesa. Upon entering the Shrine, Link is offered the trial by the Monk, Keive Tala.[1]

Themes and Navigation

To complete the Shrine, Link must connect four unconnected parts of a circuit on the wall to the left. Link can use the Magnesis Rune and three metallic crates within the Shrine to connect the circuits. He may also use various conductive items from his inventory. Once the circuit is complete, a gate to the end of the Shrine will open. Link can complete the circuit even further past the gate by lining up four platforms with a gyroscope puzzle. Doing so successfully opens the gate to an additional small room with a Treasure Chest containing a Radiant Shield. At the end of the Shrine, Link meets the Monk Keive Tala, who commends his resourcefulness and rewards him with a Naboris's Emblem.[2][3] The Monk then tells Link to collect all three of Naboris's Emblems to reveal a new challenge.[4] If this is the first Shrine Link visits of the three in the "EX Champion Urbosa's Song" Quest, the Monk tells Link that two Shrines remain.[5] If it is the second Shrine he visits, the Monk will tell him that one remains.[6] If it is the third and final Shrine he visits, the Monk will tell him to go to the Divine Beast Vah Naboris.[7]
