Link (Pig)
Link is the name of a pig owned by Abe and Rose on Outset Island in The Wind Waker. They named it after its captor, while he was away. Link (the pig), grew very large by the next time the Hero saw him.
Link may use "Link" to dig in the dark patches of dirt in order to unearth a Piece of Heart. To do so, Link needs to use one piece of the All Purpose Bait and also use the Power Bracelets to lift the pig. If Link slices at the pig with his sword, it will become angry, just like other pigs, but due to its massive size it will deal four hearts of damage rather than one.
The pig that grows to the large size will always be the first pig that Link takes to Rose at the beginning of the game. Thus, it is possible for the pig to be black, pink, or spotted.
