The Riddle Quest is exclusive to the Game Boy Advance version of A Link to the Past. It can only be found after gaining 10 Medals of Courage in the Four Swords game, which is on the same game cartridge.
A Medal of Courage is awarded, after a round, to the player that obtained the greatest number of Rupees in Four Swords.
First talk to the man inside the Lumberjack's house (north of the Death Mountain entrance), he will give you a riddle. You then go and catch a creature or item that solves the riddle. After solving all ten riddles, you will get an upgraded Hurricane Slash, this will make you able to repeatedly swirl around.
