Pasquinade is the boss of the Shrine of Illusion. He has a habit of speaking in rhyme whenever he speaks to Zelda. Pasquinade will attack by twirling around the room with his staff out and doing cartwheels dealing one and a half hearts of damage if he manages to hit her. He also can summon several purple balls that rotate around him that deal half a heart of damage.
Later he is fought again when Gannon summons the previous bosses (except for Ursore) for a final rematch against Zelda. He fights in a similar manner as before only now he is much weaker.
