Perfect Guard
From Zelda Wiki, the Zelda encyclopedia
A Perfect Guard is a recurring ability in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]
Overview
A Perfect Guard can be performed with any Shield the moment before an enemy's attack lands by pressing the A-button.[1] Executing a Perfect Guard temporarily stumbles the enemy, allowing for Link to quickly counter the attack. It may also disarm the enemy. It also works on certain projectiles to be deflected right back at them, such as Guardian laser beams.
