Squid-Hunt
Template:Minigame ERROR: No image specified. Please specify an image. The Sinking Ships game appears in the Wind Waker, and is run by Salvatore inside the Submarine Shop on Windfall Island. The game is similar to Battleships, in that Link must find and destroy three boats that are somewhere on the 8x8 grid. The boats consist of two, three or four squares. To increase the difficultly of these game, the player (Link) doesn’t place his own ships, instead they must locate the computer placed ships within 25 shots.
The game costs 10 rupees per game.
Awards
A Piece of Heart will be received the first time winning. Second victory will unlock Treasure Chart No 7 and each victory after that will be rewarded with 50 rupees. If the record of 20 is beat, then Treasure Chart No 23 is unlocked and after that 100 rupees per record beating score.
Trivia
It is the first time that a battleships style minigame has appeared in a Zelda game.
