Sturgeon is an elderly old man who lives on Outset Island. He has a hot temper and is easily angered by his brother Orca's swordfighting. He teaches you the basics of the Wind Waker and he is also Sue Belle, the girl with the jar on her head's grandfather. Even though he despises swordfighting, he was actually once a grand swordfighter himself. He and his brother Orca both wished to obtain 10 Knight's Crests.
Sturgeon also makes an apperance in The Minish Cap where he spends most of his days in the Library in Hyrule Town, trying to convince anyone who stops by to talk with him that he isn't crazy just because he believes the books in the library fly around on their own from time to time.
