It seems that the Minish Cap Four Sword might be the original Master Sword, as it's pre-broken form looked like the blue Master Sword, and early boxart seemed to show it as a golden Master Sword. http://www.kasuto.net/image/minish_cap/minishcap.jpg

The Minish Cap Sword is also missing the eye of Vaati, and instead has a jewel.
