Traysi is a character in Breath of the Wild.
Biography
Traysi is a Hylian investigative journalist who can be found researching her next story in Gerudo Town.[1][2] She is the author of the Rumor Mill, which she claims is Hyrule's leading news publication.[3] Traysi traveled to Gerudo Town after hearing of the town's recent troubles, and even hints at her own experience with Divine Beast Vah Naboris.[4]
Link first encounters Traysi while she is speaking with the Gerudo guard Ploka. Ploka is denying Traysi access to Gerudo palace, though Traysi vows to keep trying.[5][6] Traysi tells Link that she is busy gathering information.[7] When Link asks her about the information, Traysi is in disbelief that Link does not know who she is.[8] She proceeds to ask Link if he is familiar with the Rumor Mill.[9] She expresses disbelief if Link says he's never heard of it,[10][11][12][1][13] but expresses relief if he has.[14][15][16][17] Either way, she reassures confidence in herself and hopes that Link enjoys reading her publication.[18][19][20]
