Template:Minigame The Trendy Game Shop is a place Link's Awakening.

Location

The shop is located in the southernmost part of Mabe Village Inside Link can find various items to aid him on his quest.

Rules

There are two Rupees worth 30 of them, a piece of heart, and a shield. But the most important item here is the Yoshi Doll which is needed for a trading sequence in the game. By giving this doll to the new couple's son, Link could exchange it for a ribbon. From there he moved on in the trading sequence as he gave item after item.

If Link wishes to obtain one of the items on the conveyor belt, there is a simple strategy that he can use to ensure success. The key to this is that the time taken for the crane to descend and grab is the same as the time that it takes for an item to travel 6 squares on the belt. Firstly, move the crane across until it is above the top-left corner of the belt. When the item that Link desires is on the middle square of the righthand edge of the belt, he should briefly tap the "down" button. The crane will pick up the item as it passes across the top-left corner of the belt.

Trivia

When Link takes Marin to the Trendy Game, she asks him if she can try it.[1] When she attempts the Trendy Game, she picks up the Shop Owner. The Trendy Shop Owner calls her a pro before telling her to leave.[2]
