Triforce: Difference between revisions

The Triforce plays an identical role in both {{OoA}} and {{OoS}}. During the introduction, the Triforce calls to Link from its place in [[Hyrule Castle]], telling him to accept "their quest."<ref>{{Cite|Accept our quest, hero!|Triforce|Oracle Series}}</ref> It then sends him to [[Holodrum]] (in ''Seasons'') or [[Labrynna]] (in ''Ages''). The Triforce is also seen on the pedestals of the [[Essences of Nature]] and [[Essences of Time]].

The Triforce appears again in {{ALBW}}. It is stated that, after the events of {{ALttP|-}}, the Triforce was once more split into three pieces. It slumbers now somewhere in Hyrule--waiting for the time when the world needs a new hero.|Painting|ALBW}}</ref> To obtain the Triforces of Power and Wisdom, [[Yuga]] captures the seven Sages and Princess Zelda, turning them all into paintings that he then uses to free Ganon. He then merges with Ganon, thus gaining the Triforce of Power, and gains the Triforce of Wisdom through Zelda. Once Link has rescued all of the Sages, they work together to summon the Triforce of Courage, which then enters into Link's possession.
