Hey Cip. It has been a while, hope you've had a good Christmas and upcoming new year. Just dropping you a message to find out what's happening with your two drafted ZI articles on astronomy and the goddesses that have been sitting around for over 8 months. If you want to release them at ZI, let me know and we can schedule them in, or if you want them back to release as Wiki exclusives, or whatever you want done with them. Otherwise I'll just move them to the archives, as there's no use in having them just sitting around unpublished. :) {{:User:Melchizedek/sig}} 16:21, 28 December 2010 (EST)

:Hmm, good point, I almost totally forgot about them. I wonder if some other editor would like to finish them (if someone expresses interest, then by all means)? Otherwise, ya might as well move them to the archives (I have copies of them on my personal computer). I'd like to continue writing them, but the inspiration just isn't there anymore! Thanks, dude. And yea, the holidays were great, thanks! I trust yours went well? :) {{:User:Cipriano/sig}} 18:19, 28 December 2010 (EST)

::Yep, I had a great Christmas. Okay, no problem - what I'll do is move them into the archives, so that if one day the inspiration to finish them returns, they're still available. They just won't be sitting around in our boards waiting for release. :) {{:User:Melchizedek/sig}} 18:59, 28 December 2010 (EST)

WikiExclusive Question

Hey, I know I'm fairly new, but I saw you had a place for Wiki Exclusives. I'm in AP high school classes and am use to writing papers. I'm also active at posting on Zelda Universe, so I get some of the opinions of the Zelda fans. If there is anything you'd ever like me to write, just tell me.(Altidefan1 22:09, 25 October 2010 (EDT))

I love the enthusiasm, by the way! ;) The WikiExclusive is a personally-driven article, where the inspiration comes from within. I've written a few myself (their links are in the WikiExclusives Portal above), if you want to see examples of formatting, style, and length, as have a few other editors on this site. I'd love for you to write one if you're interested, but I don't have any ideas of the top of my head - think of some! User:Cipriano 119/sig 23:04, 25 October 2010 (EDT)

Hi,I also have the homebrew channel SkullKid001 18:38, 13 November 2010 (EST)

PH Treasure Charts

Do you know whether or not the charts in Phantom Hourglass are numbered? I'm interested on filling the empty parts of the Treasure Chart page, but I want to order them by island if they're out of numerical order (I've collected 27 so far, but the Quest screen doesn't order them at all). --K2L (Interrogatory) 21:00, 13 November 2010 (EST)

They aren't. :( I had played a little of PH recently and encountered the same thing, especially when I looked back at the page you're talking about for help. I think by island would be best, at this point, yea. User:Cipriano 119/sig 21:06, 13 November 2010 (EST)
OK! --K2L (Interrogatory) 21:12, 13 November 2010 (EST)
Ugh, I spoke too soon!! D= D= D= The CoolTable template was superseded by the older, more convoluted table. I'll still edit the article, but only after working on a copy of the section through my NotePad program; I can't easily rearrange the chart locations otherewise. --K2L (Interrogatory) 21:21, 13 November 2010 (EST)

Bot vs Manual?

Hi, I have another question. I noticed that the language template has two versions: A manual version writen like the coding for a table or infobox; the other is a simpler, horizontal coding added by a bot (StoneWatcher, maybe?). Considering that the bot version is more compact and simpler, shouldn't we supersede the manual version? Or can both stay? Thanks in advance =). --K2L (Interrogatory) 00:48, 20 November 2010 (EST)

Good question. You're right, the StoneWatcher was programmed a month or two ago to input in the horizontal coding. The only difference is in the direction of the coding, everything else from the functionality to the appearance of the Language Box in the article looks the same between versions. It's really a matter of personal preference, but because they both work the same, exact way, there isn't really a need to replace one for the other - that would only result in gray hairs and bursting neck veins! I'd say use the one that takes less time to put in. And thanks, by the way, for helping out so much with the language variations! Dany and I wondered if we would be the only ones ever interested in working with those things :) User:Cipriano 119/sig 00:55, 20 November 2010 (EST)
You're welcome. Now, if only Jeangabin was active now .... he would lend a hand for the French names. --K2L (Interrogatory) 01:00, 20 November 2010 (EST)

WikiExclusive

Sorry for bothering you again, but I have one more question. I'm interested to write a WikiExclusive article (perhaps two, although I hate to be too ambitious), but what do I need to know before preparing one (for example, what are the basic rules?) Thanks in advance. =) --K2L (Interrogatory) 16:41, 10 December 2010 (EST)

You never bother me! Don't worry :) The staff has written an informal/formal guideline for writing and submitting WikiExclusives in the Help Guide here. And please write as many as you want, there is no cap! We'd love to have your work on the wiki in a unique form, to go along with the stellar mainspace contributions you provide on the daily. — ciprianotalk 22:35, 10 December 2010 (EST)

I just finished one as well....But I wrote it before I read the rules, and it's on a subpage of my userpage. Could you read it and judge it and delete the link afterwards so vandals can't find it? Thanks.

Sure I can! I'll leave the comment for it in your talk window, so that you can see it and not have it deleted with the WikiExclusive. I'm excited you guys are cranking these out! — ciprianotalk 19:03, 23 December 2010 (EST)

I made some tweaks to it, such as lengthening the conclusion, making the questions and answers into an introduction and thesis, and fixing the test-effect. I hope you like it now, but if there's anything wrong, feel free to tell me and I will fix it. --Purlo's Grandfather 10:34, 24 December 2010 (EST)

Submit it, please! If you need to fix anything, feel free!
