Description
These wild cows come equipped with big, strong horns. They live off grass that grows near the waterfront. Their meat is considered to be high quality, so they're a common target among hunters. Fun fact: the domesticated Hateno cow, often raised in villages, was bred through selective breeding using these.

Water Buffalo can be found near sources of water, where they're known to graze on grass.[2] When approached from the front, they will charge at Link. When killed, they can drop Raw Meat or Raw Gourmet Meat. While they're wild animals, Hateno Cows are the domesticated version of Water Buffalo.[3]
