Raw Meats are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2][3]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Raw Meat is dropped by Woodland Boars, Mountain Goats, and Grassland Foxes when they are killed. It is also sold by two separate Wandering Merchants, those being Cambo and Mezer. Raw Meat can be eaten to restore one Heart of healing. It can be cooked by a Fire to make Seared Steak or frozen with Ice to create Icy Meat.

As part of the Side Quest "Koko Cuisine", Link must gather Raw Meat for Koko so she can make Tough Meat-Stuffed Pumpkin.[4][5] When Link brings her Raw Meat, Koko will be excited and reward Link with Meat-Stuffed Pumpkin.[6]

A Raw Meat must be used in order to make a Spiced Meat Skewer, Meat Curry, and a Meat and Rice Bowl in a Cooking Pot. Either a Raw Meat or a Raw Bird Drumstick is required to make Meat Stew, Meat and Seafood Fry, and Salt-Grilled Meat. They are also one of several Meat items that can be used to make Creamy Meat Soup, Glazed Meat, a Meat and Mushroom Skewer, Meat Pie, a Meat Skewer, Copious Meat Skewers, Meaty Rice Balls, Monster Stew, Pepper Steak, Steamed Meat, and a Meat-Stuffed Pumpkin.

Tears of the Kingdom

Raw Meats return as Items in Tears of the Kingdom.
