The Wind Waker Japanese boxart
- Score: -1
- Final Date: April 13, 2013
This image really shows the high quality of Nintendo's Japanese video game boxart. This boxart is much more detailed than the American and European boxarts, and includes iridescent foil for a colorful effect. The newsprint-like effect on Link is pretty nice. - The iridescent effect is quite striking, and as a whole is visually intriguing. Miles (talk) 16:33, 23 January 2012 (EST)
- There is a lot of detail in the image, and the colors look nice.--Player1won 22:14, 18 May 2012 (EDT)
- Once again we get the short end of the stick. The box art here is stunning and is, (in my opinion) better than the North Amarican box art. --Shyla12323 15:30 17 December 2012 (EST)
- It's kind of interesting looking, I suppose, but I can't say I'm really happy with the idea of prominently showing high-resolution product images like this (since it's something other wikis specifically tend to steer away from for legal reasons). Aside from that vague concern, we already have quite a few WW images featured, two of which have Link and KoRL as their subject matter, so I don't really feel it helps the overall diversity. User:Adam/sig 03:05, 29 February 2012 (EST)
- Adam's hit the head on the nail yet again. It does look cool, but we've got much better stuff than this.User:Justin/sig 19:16, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
- The picture itself is okay, but the brand name and text detracts from the picture. It would look less cluttered if the text wasn't there, but the image itself is also messy. User:Darkness/sig 19:03, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
- I'm with Darkness. It has a pretty cool effect, but the text and branding make it look messy.User:Abdullah/sig 16:06, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
Link resting
- Score: 4
- Final Date: April 13, 2013
A high quality image of Link taking a break under a tree. It has great, vibrant colors and, even though it could do without the logo at the top, that doesn't take away from this not too well-known artwork from the A Link to the Past remake. --Dany36 17:53, 12 July 2012 (EDT)
- The image is crisp and clear with vivid colors. This picture is pleasant to look at. --P1won 18:05, 8 August 2012 (EDT)
- I like this one; it's a great quality image, and the style's quite different from anything else we've featured so far. User:Adam/sig 10:40, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think I've seen this anywhere else on the net, and that's a bit of a disappointment. The image has nice colors and styling, and is high quality to boot. User:Abdullah/sig 16:06, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
- Wow, wow, wow, this is really good artwork. There's not a whole lot going on, and that's a good thing. Through its simplicity, it stands as a very relaxing image, with smooth yet vibrant colors. It makes me feel like laying down in the grass and taking a nap myself. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 16:18, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
Zelda and Her Loftwing
- Score: 1
- Final Date: April 13, 2013
I really like this image for multiple reasons: for starters, it's incredibly high quality and is a very nice piece of artwork. Another main reason is that this is one picture of Zelda which shows her to be "just another person." She's always been royalty and had great importance, and as such she's always carried an air of elegance. Here, Zelda does not know she's the Goddess reborn, and is therefore...well, humanized. It's a great image of Zelda, and I think it could definitely be a great image to feature.User:Justin/sig 21:29, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
- Amazing quality. Beautiful colors. Great artwork. This artwork has every reason to feature it, and no reasons not to. My vote goes with this image, definitely. And did I mention it's a large image which preserves quality as it's magnified? You can really see the detail. User:Darkness/sig 21:42, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
