:Sorry, I probably should have looked at the code before I posted that. It would look like that, but there'd still be empty fields for you to fill in. I guess this[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Pushing_Daisies_episodes] would be a better example. [[User:Hisak|Hisak]] 00:05, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

Character merging

I don't think that characters from the CD-i games should have their own pages (other thank Link and Zelda, and maybe the king, so the ones that appear in other games). I'd suggest that we make a "Characters in CD-i games" page to include any known characters from all three games. --Adamcox82 17:31, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

That would better than one for each character. Maybe we should do something like this for some of the SSB characters. Like characters from certain origin on one character page. Like one for Mario, one for Starfox, one for Pokemon, etc. These individual non-Zelda to semi-Zelda characters pages have got to stop.--Mjr162006 17:35, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
I think you may have hit on a really good idea here. There's long been a complaint that too much emphasis was given to the SSB content, and creating game-specific character sub-pages sounds like a really nice idea. This would also work like I said for all the CD-i characters. I sense a group project in the making ;) --Adamcox82 17:44, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
I believe adding "subst" would have been better than keeping a link to the talk page. Anyways, what about all these SSB stage articles? Should we merge those too? There are too many.--Mjr162006 13:40, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

The stage articles... Perhaps a giant "listing" sort of format (split up into several pages by the iteration of the series in which it appears) with a short description of each stage along with an image next to it? I can get images for every Super Smash Bros. level, and for most if not all of the Brawl stages. So basically we'd have three pages titled "Stages in Super Smash Bros.", and another for Melee and Brawl.
I agree with the idea of game-universe character pages. What would they be called? Something like "Mario characters in Super Smash Bros."?
Also, I have to say that I disagree with the idea of merging all of these CD-i character articles into one article. We've never stopped creating a separate article for every character before (we have articles on minor characters such as Anju's Mother, for crying out loud). A Zelda game is still Zelda, and I think needs to be covered in as much depth as we possibly can. Unless, of course, these characters have absolutely no depth, which is possible, considering its source. :P I've yet to own these games (HEAR THAT, EMPLOYERS WHO AREN'T HIRING ME?), and I'm pretty sure that NONE of us have these games, so covering them might be difficult for now. But perhaps in the future when someone CAN write more in-depth content we might split the characters with more information? --Ando 13:51, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

Well I remember someone here, it might have been Adam, saying that"like it or not the CD-I games where officially licensed by Nintendo." So that would mean that they each deserve a character page. We could still merge, just in four pages. One for characters in both, with links back to the main article, and three more page for game specific characters. Fair enough? Or something like that anyway.--Mjr162006 13:58, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

I like that idea of a listing for SSB stages. How about one page for all the stages in the SSB seriesm with the games divided into sections? ZeldaGirl96 15:18, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

An idea was brought up earlier (I believe by MARKOL) that we merge the stages into their respective games (i.e. three pages, each called "Stages in Super Smash Bros. [blank]"). The idea is that, well, a page listing all 70 or 80 stages or whatever we're at with pictures would be horrendously huge. User:Ando/sig 15:31, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

So we should divide them into games, right? Template:Nosig

Sounds like the plan. :P User:Ando/sig 14:22, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Dungeon Listing Template

I've been thinking about the dungeon listing pages (like Dungeons in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask), and I think we could do a lot more with them, such as include basic information like the boss, main item, etc. Of course, this would be easiest if there was a template for this. I had imagined that it would be in the following order: image (it would be the same size as it is now), dungeon name, location, main item, mini-boss (optional), and boss, with a "check box" at the end saying if it's optional or if it's considered a major dungeon. If someone can make a template like this, it would be greatly appreciated. Hisak 02:17, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

So... basically you want the current dungeon template with an "optional" spot as well? User:Ando/sig 03:25, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
We better hurry up and decide what we want to do. Because that sounds like a job for me. And I am leaving for the camping trip in nine and a half hours.User:Mjr162006/sig 03:33, July 24, 2008 (UTC)

Well, not necessarily, Matt. This is a pretty simple job, actually. Basically copying and pasting the existing dungeon template and adding a field (and I HAVE added optional fields before, so I know how to do it). So it doesn't HAVE to be decided, like, right now. And even if you did have to do it, well, you'll be back in, what, three days? User:Ando/sig 03:38, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Oh, I didn't mean modify the new template; I meant make a new template that can be used on the dungeons listing pages. One that looks something like this[1], except with a field to put an image in on the far left. Hisak 20:46, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
