To allow peace to remain at Hyrule, they also created the [[Divine Beast]]s for each of the four [[Champions]] to prepare themselves for when Ganon - now branded as Calamity Ganon - returns and attempts to destroy the kingdom. When Calamity Ganon returned, the Guardians protected Link and Zelda as they attacked, and the Divine Beasts were able to weaken Calamity Ganon for Link to deliver the final blow.
