Abe lives on [[Outset Island]],<ref>{{Cite Book|type= Guide|quote= |game= TWW|publisher= Prima|page= 68}}</ref> on which he was born.<ref name="figurine"/> He is married to [[Rose]] and together, they had two sons: [[Joel]] and [[Zill]].<ref name="family"/> He is interested in [[Pig|Wild Pigs]], and in the beginning of the game he can be seen trying to catch a black pig by awaiting it from behind a palm tree. He gives [[Link]] some hints on how to catch pigs. When Link returns later in his adventure, Abe will be just outside of his house next to the fairly grown pig.
